New Frama vending machines in Finland

Frama-stamp vending machines

Finland Post introduced the renewed Frama-stamp vending machines on 1 September 1999. Now the Finnish Post Museum delivers the Frama-stamps also abroad on order. Stamp vending machines have serial numbers, and the machine at the Museum prints out number 3.

Post Museum

The pictorial motif of the Post Museum's Frama-stamp shows the first postal van, which was acquired in 1911 by Finland Post. The van was used to empty letter boxes in Helsinki and can be found on exhibition in the Helsinki Main Post Office Building nowadays.
