Catharina van Hemessen (1528-1587) a self portrait in 1548. It is the eldest still existing self portrait painted by a women.Jenny MontignyJenny Montigny (1875-1973) painted "Woman in Tub". She started to paint in the manner of her tutor Emile Claus, but developed her own style in later years.Marthe DonasMarthe Donas (1885-1967) painted "Still live" in 1917 in a way that many people recognize from the works of Picasso: cubism.She had many important friends in the world of art as Brancusi, Archipenko and Duchamp.
