Join hands to reach out to others

Co-operation is not an idle word for the Red Cross. Every day, more than 14,000 men and women of good will join hands to reach out to others. They do that from the kindness of their hearts, and free of charge. However, their equipment and training doesn't just grow on trees. That is why the Red Cross is organising a two-week event from 24 April to 8 May.

Proceeds

With the proceeds of the annual sticker sale, the Red Cross can buy bandages and surgical dressings, organise training courses, pay the heating costs and so on. In brief, they can ready themselves for action for yet another year.

Red Cross stamps

Since 1914 the Belgium postal service has regularly issued a Red Cross stamps to support the Red Cross. And this year is no exception.
