Pioneering scientists and revolutionary achievements in the field of exact and human sciences and of technique are dealt with. Of each specialty the core of the innovation is rendered in a quite original way.

A few examples: Ovide Decroly broke the tight straitjacket of the prevailing educational methods. Sigmund Freud discovered the importance of the subconscious. Ilya Prigogine demonstrated the movement of time in physics and Pierre and Marie Curie made important discoveries in the field of radioactivity.
