Five impressive farms from Flanders and Wallonia with a respectable history constitute the Belgian 2001 nature set. These farms testify to the power of the church and the aristocracy, as well as to the importance of agriculture in the past.
This stamp issue will be a permanent reminder of this great, agricultural patrimony that is threatened with disappearance in our highly technological time.
