The Aero-Club of Switzerland is the national umbrella organisation of air sports and light aviation, covering motor aircraft, gliding, model planes, ballooning and parachute jumping among others.

Aero-Club was founded in 1901

The Aero-Club was founded on 31 March 1901 in Bern. Various events are being organised at national and regional level to mark its centenary, including a ceremony to commemorate its founding in Bern.
