Miniature stamp sheet

It is not the first time that PTT Post of The Netherlands issued stamps on this theme. This year a miniature sheet with ten different stamps was issued.

Obvious method

When people congratulate someone the most obvious method to do so is to shake hands. The designer Erik Kessels was inspired by this habit and designed ten stamps which show this moment.
A hand written text has been placed on every hand. These texts depict ten "happy" occasions.
The value of each stamp is 80 cents (inland letter rate).

First day: 29 February 2000.
Size: 40.5 x 26.1 mm.
Perforation: 13.25 x 13.75.
Design: Erik Kessel.
Colours: yellow, red, blue and black.
Print: offset by Joh. Enschedé Stamps Security Printers.
