The miniature sheet dedicated to the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest, held at Helsinki's Hartwall Arena on 10 and 12 May 2007, features Finland's entries to the contest in different decades. Last Finnish victors, monster band Lordi, is celebrated with two postage stamps.

Jubilee miniature sheet
The heraldic lion of Finland adorned the jubilee issue for the 150th anniversary of the Finnish postage stamp in 2006. In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Finnish stamp, a miniature sheet was issued on 27 October 2006 in scintillating red, blue and gold, on the theme of the lion coat of arms of Finland on Finnish stamps.

A special postage stamp Peacekeeping Missions of the Luxembourg Army was released in September 2007. Advantage Communication in Howald designed this special postage stamp, which was printed by the Stamp printer of Belgium in Malines.

Archaeological research undertaken in 1995 on the site of a new agricultural operation in Vichten showed that the terrain in question covered the foundations of one of the most remarkable Roman villas ever discovered in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Vulcan Bomber
Had it not been for the Falklands war in 1982 the Vulcan would have flown for its entire service life without ever dropping a bomb in anger. Although the primary weapon for the Vulcan was nuclear, it could carry up to 21 x 1000 lb bombs and 30 years after its maiden flight the Vulcan was able to successfully complete what was to become the longest successful combat flight in history (until the 15t Gulf War).

On 24 August 2007 eight new postage stamps in five different issues came on sale in Finland. The themes of the stamps are raspberries, butterflies, Finnish Olympic Committee, architecture and design styles.

It is entirely right and proper that Ascension Island should be remembered on the 251h Anniversary of the Falklands War. In the lessons learnt from Operation Corporate, the Commander-in-Chief Fleet said. Some special postage stamps were issued on Ascension.

Centennial towns on stamps
In 1907, Grand Duke Guillaume IV of Luxembourg elevated the areas of Differdange, Dudelange, Rumelange and Ettelbruck to the status of towns. This title was attributed to them by the 4 August 1907. Four new postage stamps were issued.

On 27 March 2007 a new series of four stamps on maritime heritage of the Falkland Islands was issued. These stamps were designed by John Batchelor and printed in lithography by BDT International Security Printing. The gutters of each stamp sheet carry the official Falkland 25 logo.
